The hotel is situated in a quiet area, providing a warm and stuffy atmosphere on the 3rd floor. The location is peaceful yet central to where I needed to be, but fell short of the expected descriptions. The service was characterized by efficiency and good humor from the young staff, despite some setbacks in the bar and restaurant area. The dining experience offered limited choices and could have had greater variety. The rooms showed signs of wear and tear but were acceptable, and the breakfast was subpar. The hotel facilities were basic.

The hotel is located conveniently near UWE, Bristol Business Park, and Frenchay, making it a great choice for visiting family or exploring the area. The staff are attentive to your needs, but the outside areas can be noisy due to smokers and loud music. The easy access to Bristol and hassle-free parking are definite perks.

It was a perfect Birthday gift for a night away, seeking peace and quiet at just under £80 per night. The room was cosy, very clean, and had everything we needed, offering ample space to move around comfortably. The service varied from apologetic to good quality, especially from the Holiday Inn front office staff, though the cleaning staff seemed to take a long time to clear breakfast tables. The location being very near UWE Bristol was excellent for our purpose, although the TV problem was a letdown. The dining experience was good with a large selection of delicious food, buffet style, perfect for a satisfying meal. The facilities provided added convenience and comfort to our stay.
